What is the salary like at NewDay USA?

      NewDay USA reviews

Good place to start off with decent room for growth (patience required)

      Software developer
      Current employee

      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

For developers,it’s good experience as u get to learn the whole software lifecycle and will be trusted with absolute full stack responsibilities.

      Cons

The pay is not competitive with other developer salaries

Trust bad reviews, take good ones with a grain of salt

      Current employee

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Good entry level job. Decent pay once OT is factored in but you're also spending a minimum of 49 hours working while being at the office 55+ hours a week not including commute because remote work is the enemy and not one of the jobs can be done remotely. Culture is nice if you like frat house environment, gym bro culture, and locker room talk. If you dislike minority groups the Talent Acquisition team will actually elevate your position and allow you to talk freely about your political views and how much you wish a certain candidate was in office to cleanse America. Final Pro would definitely be how everyone is always on edge and attentive because there is no job security here so work output and tension at an all time high always.

      Cons

They don't learn from the bad reviews or bad business model because to them it is not a bad business model, it's one that they've found that they could thrive in and will not change or adapt.

      Cons

Base pay is actually hourly, but they have you work so many hours you end up bringing in overtime and you make around 60-70k Growth model has you take a pay cut to move up into leadership

      Pros

I've been able to learn and grow so much within my career at NewDay. They invest a lot into training and mentorship to make sure everyone is set up for success. I look forward coming into work every day to work because I get to work with so many driven like-minded people, plus we have a lot of fun while we work. Other perks - base salary, uncapped commission, bonuses, fast career growth track, fun company culture, internal competitions, the list goes on. If you're a recent college grad, give NewDay a shot - you'd be surprised how much you'll learn and grow both personally and professionally.

      Cons

Like all sales roles it can be a grind but the benefits and compensation make it worth it

      Business Outlook

      Pros

New Day provides great training for recent college graduates who have little to no experience in the mortgage industry. On the operations side they offer an Accelerated Underwriting Program that helps you become a VA underwriter in as quick as 18 months. New Day has a young competitive culture. There are opportunities to grow and move into management positions quickly

      Cons

Overtime is expected and you will be asked to occasionally work a Saturday. However, employees make commission on top of base salary, so employees are compensated well for their extra efforts.
