What is paid time off like at Northrop Grumman?
Pros
Growing fast with lots of opportunities! A lot of fun development projects to work on. Engineering team is great!
Cons
NG Goleta is going through growing pains. Programs with too aggressive schedules. Their is a culture of having to meet unrealistic schedule without overtime pay, additional time off, or bonuses. Product stream is poorly managed.

Does Northrop Grumman offer relocation assistance?
Pros
Excellent benefit package, flex hours, 9/80 schedule, telecommuting is available depending on occupation. I am a cleared employee with 15 years experience in the aerospace and defense industry. The people are wonderful and I love working for this company.
Cons
No covered parking is available.

Better than average benefits, education support, good company culture, free consultation and support.

New groups/functions lack process, leading to people doing their tasks in different ways. Tribal knowledge.

Does Northrop Grumman offer dental insurance?
Pros
Has great benefits (HSA, 401k (ROTH or traditional), medical, vision, dental, ~3 weeks PTO, paid holidays, 9/80 work schedule, flex time, allows telecommuting (depends on group/department). Helpful coworkers
Cons
stress levels can be elevated at times with tight deadlines, pay raises are substantial, new bonus structure is "odd", work depends on company receiving contracts which most employees largely cant control
Advice to Management
be more clear about pay raise frequencies and work load expectations within each sector. Also a tool that can monitor hours worked within fiscal month would be nice to reinstate.
