Pros
The people you will work with day to day are amazing. They are the reason I stay at this job at my low to mid-level position. The benefits are also pretty good, especially if you will be using parental/maternity leave.
Cons
You are often required to work overtime with no additional pay or compensation if you are a salaried employee. And even if you are hired as a remote worker, you will likely be required to come into the office a few times a week. There is very little opportunity for career development and growth if you enter at a junior or mid-level position. For example, I have been at the company for 3 years with no conversations had about my specific growth/development, and often times I am left without a manager/supervisor since the company fills leadership positions from outside the company (and it’s a rotating door) instead of promoting from within. There is also a lot of constantly change happening at the leadership level overall. This impacts the day to day work of the lower level employees: policies are constantly in flux and new mandatory procedures are enacted every couple of months. There is currently a huge push for AI which I worry may jeopardize many company jobs, especially within the creative department.
