      Culture is really great, people are friendly but still shouldnt be trusted

      SP Executive Directors need to be vetted as the current in power are not fit for their roles, the currently selection process is incredibly flawed and they need more leadership training.

      Pros

      - Positive attitude, relatively down to earth people (for Mgt. consulting) - Good feedback culture - feel valued, also feel comfortable making complaints to mgr - Very high autonomy in staffing - if you find a nice project and convince the partner, you will get it. But: there is no need - if you don't have the network you'll get OK staffing regardless - Good attitudes towards family commitments and people taking parental leave etc. I find this good corporate citizenship - Opportunity for "Golden Passport" if you want it: 2 yrs in a different office anywhere in the world. Pretty fun way to explore a new place in the world! - Scandal-Free: might be due to smaller size, but I don't think we have anything near the scandals of some of our larger competitors. I think that reflects strong ethics & culture!

      - Smaller offices than competitors - if you like bustling offices, may be sth. to consider - Chaotic staffing - they seem to have a pretty non-standardised process, which can be disconcerting for new hires - Perf. Review and promotion only once per year. Means if you want to do your 2 years and leave you might need to stay a bit longer for your promotion before leaving.

      Friendly, professional atmosphere Fair compensation

      Cons

      Tough to integrate as an experienced hire as there are many pre formed cliques. No clear team structure as everyone fits into a large pool. Difficult to seek sponsorship as an experienced hire. Ways of working and operating quite different from other consulting firms. A lot of upward management required and people seem to be brought up to focus on that (vs supporting your own teams and making them happy)
