Back to back calls can be stressful at times

      Current employee

      Pros

The benefits and the PTO are nice plus the amount of overtime offered is excellent too.

      Cons

The amount of calls on a normal day is BEYOND ridiculous. I know it's a call center and you're supposed to expect that. HOWEVER, it gets mentally exhausting to the point of where you just want to cry and even taking a five second break is not enough. The other issue is that the ACW time is forcing you to be ready for your next caller, who you don't even know if they're going to yell at you or be an almost perfect angel. A couple seconds is not enough time to get yourself together and then the most recent issue is that they're monitoring calls that go over a certain amount to see why you're on there for so long, but the problem is that you'll have up to five claims in one call that you have to take your time on. I am very much close to crying because a call center was never for me in the first place. This has brought me down mentally and I have to talk myself out of quitting because I need money in this economy. Ten out of time I do not recommend.

Great benefits, but workload is overwhelming and unrealistic

      Auto adjuster
      Current employee
      Dallas, TX
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

The company offers a really good benefits package, Very generous with PTO. Great direct supervisor!

      Cons

I can only speak for the dept I am currently in. The amount of work is impossible to stay on top of. New claims, follow up on existing claims, waiting for authority to be approved from the clients, waiting to get value reports back from the appraiser, addressing problems with the salvage vendor, issuing settlement payments, paying the rental invoices, paying salvage invoice, answer calls and emails, reviewing and addressing the mail. It is a salaried position, based on a 37.5 hr work week, there is no way someone could work only 37.5 hours and not be performance mismanaged out the door with disciplinary action. It is an impossible feat to be successful in this role and also stay sane and not work 12-14 hrs a day.

      Pros

Will always have a job, coworkers are really friendly and helpful, benefits are good, good amount of PTO, pay increase per year depending on how well you do your job

      Cons

Stressful, overwhelming amount of work, if you struggle with organization even a little bit, do not work here it is for people who have incredible organization skills

I would never recommend this place

      Std claims examiner
      Former employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Amazing colleagues who also get taken advantage of

      Cons

This company is an absolute joke, they give the least amount of holidays that they can, benefits are expensive and not even good, PTO and sick time are the same and it takes years to accrue a decent amount , they constantly make you work on other teams. You can apply internally after years with the company to multiple positions but they’ll just ignore your application and never speak of it again. But when they have an account with late work they’ll basically force you to handle it. I’m sure there are good jobs within the company but as a cautionary tale to anyone applying to be an examiner either in LOA or STD. RUN. They’ll pay you like trash and treat you like that too
