What are perks and other benefits like at Simpson Strong-Tie?

Employee driven culture, great benefits, company is growing.

In some areas company is still growing up & leveraging technology.

Benefits are great and the culture they have built is amazing.

Career development can be limited depending on department.

I have supportive and friendly coworkers who are strongly committed to doing a great job. I have fantastic benefits, and my pay is comparable to the industry standard.

Misaligned, know-it-all executive leadership overseeing engineering and marketing. Lack of interest in talking, listening, or understanding the specialization areas of employees. Very little trust. Decisions are made at a high level without trusting recommendations from team members. Disorganized. Piling on more work without considering bandwidth or budget. It's been a problem since 2023, and no help is coming.

Decent pay, benefits are okay

No confidence in leadership, no upward mobility, good old boys club.

Distance between branches make it a little hard to connect with other teams

supportive team mates, and management. great compensation both benefits, and pay

not the most aggressive sales style. great for the long term growth, but can be difficult to get caught up.

Management does one thing and says another. Trust in management went out the window.

Decent pay, benefits are ok

Dishonest upper management. They make promises then don't follow through. Very poor in competency and character. My local supervisor is a great guy, it was sad to watch what they put him through.

Benefits are acceptable, and the company is well-known in the industry.

Management is highly incompetent, and nepotism, bias, and favouritism outweigh even the best results. I witnessed the harassment of a star up-and-coming colleague by a "gang" of long-term employees, all because this person was doing so well, I believe it made these long-term employees look ineffective.
