Brand is losing value by the day in the AI era. SLT lacks vision and ability to execute to deliver new and much needed products. Flopped product launches, product team unable to leapfrog the industry. Company is stuck in the past, and is unable to keep up with the market.

Fully remote, decent pay, good benefits

I have never worked at a company this toxic. It is a complete dead-end. There is no cohesion at the top, and every layer of management is torn between trying to plug the holes to the point where they are totally unable to do their jobs, or letting the flood through to drown their reports. It is sad, considering what this company was created to be. Nothing, no amount of flexibility or perks could make working at Stack Overflow worth it anymore. There is no team where people are happy, feel connected to the work, or trust leadership to course-correct.

Stack Overflow used to be something - as both a product and an employer. Those days are gone and most remaining employees know it, but don’t want to lose their good salaries in this market

Everyone is stretched following 2 rounds of layoffs. The CEO should have been gone two years ago when they were heading off the cliff, but has been kept on while it’s in free fall.

The company is being run into the ground by its owning company as they simply do not understand SaaS business and think a company will earn more if you cut more roles and benefits.

-Pay historically above average -Benefits package strong -Autonomous in role, not micro managed if you prove yourself -We have some of the best logos I've worked with in my career, with much bigger potential market, which is a great combo for a well loved brand -Good potential for products ie Overflow AI and more -Fully remote

-Management are a mixed bag, some are excellent, others don't seem to understand how to manage which hurts morale and can come across as contradictory -2023 was a tough year, however some pivots were needed in tough market conditions and huge changes
