What is the salary like at Sweetwater?

Distribution Center work isn't paid as well as it probably could be for how hard on your body the work is.

Sweetwater was a great place to learn more about marketing while working alongside experts in their craft. The department rewarded and respected people who put in result-producing work. Department leads encouraged personal and professional growth. The extremely fast pace will teach you to work nimbly and keep an end-goal in mind.

The marketing department does not value traditional workflows and processes. There are a lot of difficult internal politics to navigate. Unless you are on a team that supports the digital teams you will not feel like a valued part of the team. HR was slow to take care of problems, including problem employees. Not a lot of room for advancement due to tenured employees who create a salary cap and ego issues.

Magical place, staff truly cares about music and serving customers. The building itself is like a small little community complete with: free Doctor for staff AND their families, free (nice) gym, discounted cafeteria, an area for concerts, disc golf course, the list goes on.

The pay seems a little low for warehouse staff, the included benefits make up for it somewhat. But I’d increase the pay about $1.50-$2.00 per hour for the warehouse workers. Cannot speak on the pay for main building workers as I’m not in those departments and am very new to the company.

The team of CSRs are some of the best group of people I have worked with. Everyone on the team generally gets along and I have made a ton of friends, especially having just moved to Fort Wayne. What is also helpful is that the job isn't 9-5 for everyone, and there are different schedules, both in times and days in office, that help with all types of schedules.

With how prices have been rising each year, the pay for the CSR position isn't great. Multiple people work second jobs and for the amount of work we do, a livable wage feels like the bare minimum. With how Sweetwater values the human connection on our calls, the push to implement Generative AI into the workflow seems counterintuitive. A lot of discussions around how the AI will be used and implemented counteract positions or jobs at Sweetwater, making multiple jobs seem in threat of being removed. Especially with how Sweetwater values the human expertise on the team, this feels like the wrong move.

Employee discount and some of the amenities are cool.

Low pay and no chance for advancement. Internal job openings are constantly posted, but you have no chance of getting a promotion unless management likes you.

Feels like family. Great values, great culture.

Co workers and current manager are wonderful to work with. Flexibility if you have kids and need to maneuver your schedule a little for delays.

Wish pay was a little better and the "other benefits" were not used as an excuse for it.

Management and co-workers are friendly and have positive attitudes. Good work is recognized.
