During training, I was informed there could be opportunities for quick advancement, but that did not reflect my personal experience. In Jacksonville, the 90-day probationary period is very strict. Even with a doctor’s note for illness, any absence resulted in attendance points and affected eligibility for promotions for several months.
Communication with HR often took several days, and the responses I received did not give me confidence that concerns would be resolved.
The role also differed from my expectations. I was hired as an Autonomous Vehicle Specialist but the position was classified as Shuttle Attendant. While listed as a full time job the schedule was not set up to receive 40 hours.
I was also required to use my personal phone to complete job tasks, including downloading and utilizing company applications, but no reimbursement was provided for this required use.
Parking options were limited with the closest guaranteed parking located about three blocks from the site.
From my perspective, performance metrics were prioritized more than employee safety. Although daily shift review forms were submitted, I did not often see follow-up on the issues raised.
Overall, based on my experience, I did not find the site well-organized or supportive of career growth.
