I have been working at Transdev full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great upward mobility for those who want to grow. Company offers opportunities to internal employees first. We become stronger when we take care of those who want a career...not just a job.

    Cons

Some anxiety when contract renewals with agency clients go to bid. This creates uncertainties and makes it a challenging decision whether to ride it out or prepare your resumes.

    Advice to Management

Need stronger management training programs to encourage employees to stay and succeed in upper management roles.

I have been working at Transdev full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Steady work, easy job, descent benefits.

    Cons

Start-up phase has been rough for everybody, from clients, to drivers, dispatch, and management. Runs are often scheduled poorly, with insufficient time before/between to actually get there at the specified times. As another reviewer stated, the scheduled runs often overtake out break and lunch times.

Things have gotten better, and we're seeing improvement now since the initial start-up. Hopefully, they will continue to improve.

    Advice to Management

We need better communication methods between drivers and management. It's hard to get any face-time or directly discuss concerns with anybody that can do anything about them. Dispatch feels like our only line of communication, but often they are as clueless as we are are.
