    Pros

If you have worked for an employer that stands over you watches what you do, here you do not have to worry about that . You get your job and get it done.

    Cons

You have to schedule your vacation at the beginning of the year. And on major holidays if somebody else has the week off you cannot take any time off during that week.

    Advice to Management

If you want your employees to like coming to work, let your employees use their benefits that they have earned the way they want to. Remember we can make you look good or look bad.

    Pros

Nice coworkers Clean environment thats really what i can think of

    Cons

Schedules have split shifts ex. your scheduled from 7am- 11am and they want you back at 5pm till you finish the route. Most trainers try to treat you like a child feel they can speak to you however they feel like it. Expect for you to know everything in a matter of hours.

    Pros

If you enjoy doing for others, Transdev is a wonderful job for you. Being a driver for Transdev is one of the greatest work experiences that I have ever had and by far the most fulfilling. The greatest part is that you get paid to learn safe driving skills not just for on the job purposes, but personal leisure as well.

    Cons

You will experience fatigue if you are not good at managing your diet and sleep patterns. Be prepared to dedicate yourself to the minimum 13.5 hrs every day that you are on the road. The worse part is that you may have one or two not so friendly in-house experiences.

    Advice to Management

Be mindful that dedicated drivers still have rough personal lives, so be more empathetic to those who are really dedicated to doing the job and being safe while doing it.

    I worked at Transdev full-time

    Pros

Mostly nice trainers and coworkers; great managers.
They pay and train you to get a CDL B.
Very tolerant of sick days off.
Lots of overtime opportunity, and decent pay.

    Cons

Split shifts will run you ragged.

You start work around 4-5am and return 9am, then you start again around 1pm and finish at 7-8pm. You might get around 4-5 hours of sleep every work night, then they expect you to make-up the rest of the sleep between your split shifts. This is why bus drivers fall asleep and crash.

A small mistake on this job can result in multiple counts of involuntary manslaughter.

You deal with people of all walks of life; believe it or not, the rich and entitled are the worst.

Bathroom breaks are far between; sometimes not at all.

I worked at Transdev full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

While I did not favor this company, it was a decent, steady job that allowed me to provide for myself and family.

    Cons

Low starting pay, with poor training. New Bus Operators are often required to operate bus routes that they have not been trained to operate.

    Advice to Management

Management should work to connect with new hired employees. Particularly those with little to no transportation experience. After all, the reputation of the entire organization relies on the service provided by its operators.

    Pros

Convenient job if you’re a student(work in between classes)
Most of the coworkers are nice and easy to get along with.

    Cons

Students get upset at you for following company and university policy.
Pay could be better considering most of the surrounding companies pay $14+ an hour.

    Pros

Management is phenomenal, incredibly caring, and will invest in anyone who wants to succeed.

    Cons

Monotonous. Especially in times of high volume. But, that's literally the business, so it's to be expected.
