What is the hiring process like at VF?

      VF reviews

      Worst employee treatment ever experienced

      Account coordinator
      Current employee
      Nottingham, England
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

I have a job and something is better than nothing

      Cons

The HR department is the worst as they work from home and never show their face or participate in any process. The company sick policies are inhumane. Management is disgusting because they dont agree with many things but prefer to stay quiet as cash is king and risking losing ability to pay for their big cars is not worth it. Those who suck up to the management will get treated better and will be able to work from home some extra days while others will get punished if they even ask. Surveys are being pushed down the throat but no result or action from filling them in. Discrimination is on the rise in different situations with different people but management is acting like they are blind.

      Pros

At the beginning everything was going great, it felt like Im still at uni conducting experiments

      Cons

after 6 months and when the project was delivered slowly but steadily they casted me out of the team while the feedback was positive

Easy role and Great experience to have

      Former employee

      Business Outlook

      Pros

The role was easy, and they offer training that makes you well equipped for the role. Very supportive team that is kind and welcoming.

      Cons

Not many, great company to work for, depends on coworkers, but that is any job.

      Workwear Outfitters Custimer Service Dept

      Customer service representative
      Former employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Laid back work environment. Paid training. Good breaks/down time.

      Cons

They're a pump and dump company when it comes to their customer service dept. They are continuously hiring and they fire whoever isn't the best of the best 1 week before the new hires are finished training. So if they hire 6 new people they fire at least 5 other employees. They do not always promote from within, and would rather hire someone from outside the company with no experience and a degree then promote someone who has worked their for years and has no degree.
