      Dream Job until Denver

Apr 6, 2021 - Senior Product Developer in Denver, CO
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great professional people, great benefits, great pay and a lot of incentives to improve professional growth.

      Cons

Even though there are several tools in place to prevent discrimination for POC there aren't many tools in place to 'keep' older workers let alone hire older workers. Especially, when faced with a choice of which people to lay-off to save money during a pandemic. Human resources are clueless and disconnected from the employee experience - again even though there are several tools in place for transparency. I could go on and on regarding HR and the unprofessionalism I was faced with regarding being recruited and my relocation, not to mention the lay-off. Very, very cold. You feel like family when you are employed but when they lay you off you are nothing. Upper management can’t even give you a Linked-In review because it is frowned upon. Almost unforgivable how I was treated after everything my family went through to relocate to Denver.

Little pay for the workload of a temporary employee

May 4, 2021 - Customer Service Representative in Appleton, WI
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

They offer a nice discount to the temp employees. Amazing team leads and other co-workers are always available to help answer any questions. When in office they will have little parties or bring in food for everyone.

      Cons

Working here as a temp. is probably best for high school kids. They let go of all their temps usually in February then send an email to hire us back on in April. The management gives temps a lot of core employee responsibilities but you get less pay and no benefits. It is a temp. position so you won't get a raise for all the extra work you're doing. You can try to apply for the core employee position but no matter how hard you try, there are only 1 or 2 openings vs. the 30-50 people applying. A good company but the call center isn't the best and working here as a temp is horrible.

Progressive Company with Room for Improvement

      Jun 28, 2021 - Product Developer

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Inclusive, progressive company working to improve the care for people and the environment

      Cons

Sometimes misguided, cluttered with red tape and bureaucracy. Plans for brand goals and personal development are unclear and investment in employee growth needs to be improved

      Culture has gotten really toxic

      May 10, 2021 - Senior Manager Strategy
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Good benefits, Good pay, Good Location

      Cons

Ever since the company has moved to Denver the culture has gone down hill heavily driven by 5-10 people in leadership (mostly white men) making all the decisions for the organization even though they know very little about what is actually going on in the trenches. A toxic culture based on hierarchy and lack of inclusion, where if you speak up or dont agree with everyone else, you are terminated, everyone who does do well, plays the game and only serves themselves and does exactly what they are told. Solely results driven with little concern for doing the job well or right as long as something is delivered you are good. Everyone that i enjoyed working with has left or been asked to leave. HR has huge influence on the organization like nothing I have ever seen even though they do not understand or know the business. Sad to see a company with 'Project enable' a project to reorganize the business after COVID, has been used as an excuse to eliminate any dissenters.
