    Pros

Very generous, socially and environmentally conscious retailer, one of the few.

Works more as a holding company, therefore the retail "gray" is often misunderstood.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing!

I have been working at VF full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Discounts on all their retail brands and other company discounts.
Company strives to be green and motivate active lifestyles
Headquarters very nice bldg with nice cafe
Executive team always looking ahead with acquisitions while keeping a conservative financial baseline

    Cons

Could be more current with “working from home” and flex hours for all employees, not just management.

    Pros

Discount, they feed you all the time!

    Cons

Hug turn over rate. They give you one day to use for 90 days to miss so don’t get sick or your child break a leg or anything. They will tell you you should have made other arrangements.

    Advice to Management

Life happens! Work with your employees!

I worked at VF full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Flexible work in certain departments. I learned a lot about working in a large dysfunctional company. Humbling.

    Cons

My department was “clicky” if you weren’t a certain level or had the support of certain leaders you did the work but were given little recognition or support for it.

    Advice to Management

Get know what is really going on deep in the organization and how unclear and unfair some practices are. Post all jobs and create REAL opportunity for consideration. The appearance of what is happening is unfair and discriminatory.

I have been working at VF full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This place is a good place to work and the people there are nice and helpful.

    Cons

Sometimes there might need to be more people to work at certain areas that are busier than other areas

    Advice to Management

There are people in different areas that might need some more help real quick then switch sides after work is done
