Brother of the manager works for the company and acts like he is the boss. 😂
Very lazy people.. not all but on the clamp trucks... yes very much so.
No profit sharing , just food when you do good.
They have a point system.. almost an automatic fail.
The manager is cool , just not a good manager.
So many great teams and talented people work at WestRock. Many opportunities for people willing to put in the time and hard work. Pay and benefits are comparable to industry standards. Management cares about retaining talent and succession planning. Merger will be a huge positive for company and employees once everything settles.
Cons
The challenging part... Current company pieced together from former mergers and acquisitions which creates silos of information and accounting systems. The focus seems to be on check the box more than improving results. Upcoming merger will add to this for awhile unfortunately. There will be lots of changes and confusion and will be a difficult environment to work in regardless of job. This will require a lot of patience, persistence and hard work without seeing many results for a long time.
