Pros
The biggest pro is that I don’t work here anymore

Cons
The people are disrespectful. You’ll receive a heavy, outdated computer that you’ll need a wheelbarrow to transport. The company is so outdated that you may end up chiseling your signature into a rock as an approval. My manager tells me that it’s my job to make people from other departments do their job.
This job is all Indians and no chiefs. The VP is involved in the day to day functions of an analyst. I’ve never seen that before. There’s no leadership, despite the titles. Most of the people have never worked anywhere else so they’re accustomed to, accepting of, and comfortable with, extreme dysfunction. If you point out their inefficiencies, they’ll take it personally and attack you.
Managers are not promoted based on their leadership skills. They’re put in management positions based on their willingness to accept and navigate the company’s chaos. It’ll be interesting to see how many of these so-called leaders remain in their positions following the recent acquisition by Smurfit Kappa.
The salaries are competitive, but all money ain’t good money. Also, leaders from Smurfit Kappa are ending WFH to reduce headcount. Many people will now quit and Smurfit Kappa will offer considerably less in pay.
