Firstly, there was a phone talk with recruiter, standard talk but unfortunately couldn't tell me more in-details about the company, working process etc. Fair enough, but some company description for technical one would be really helpful, so I know what & how they do.
Then, I've received an email with 4 exercises to solve online, within 2h45min of time.
-SQL (operations on 2 tables, joining, sorting, summing)
-Decoding extra signs off line of text
-Filling table with input data and returning number of all 3-spaces in a row left.
-Recieving rows of data and counting ones where specified conditions are met
Overall, very easy. Most of them to be done within 6-10 lines of code.
After that, there was an interview with 2 backend developers, live coding with simple algorithms to solve, few questions about classes, data types, comprehensions etc. None of those questions were actually connected with things I'd do at work, which I didn't like. It looked like they made it up as we go. We also talked about what I've done before, what I'm looking for, what was my best project, what I've done that I'm proud of etc.
Then, I had online interview from HR lady, she was really nice, as the talk was, but didn't turn her camera on during the whole talk, a little bit akward, and not a standard I'm familiar with.
I felt kinda lost during the interview process, no informations when they gonna call me, how long it's going to take for them to make a decision etc.
