Interview
I had an initial call with the recruiter, which was a very pleasant and professional conversation. However, following that interaction, I had to take the initiative to follow up multiple times over the span of three weeks.
Interview with the CEO:
Eventually, I was invited to an in-person interview with the CEO at their office. The meeting itself was neutral — neither particularly positive nor negative in tone or outcome.
Lack of Communication and Clarity:
Post-interview, there was again a prolonged period of silence. I had to follow up repeatedly to receive any updates. The response I eventually received was that they were still interviewing additional candidates to compare profiles, which indicated a lack of decisiveness and clarity in their recruitment process.
Outcome and Impression:
Three weeks after that, I received a call informing me that the position had been canceled altogether, and they were no longer hiring.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, the process came across as disorganized and unprofessional. The extended delays, lack of transparency, and abrupt cancellation suggest a company that may lack structure and clear internal alignment in its hiring practices.
