Good, had an initial interview and a secondary interview. Very kind people and cared about their jobs. Wanted my genuine opinion on their questions and social trends. Had a good rapport.
The interview process was professional, but I felt that the person interviewing me didn't have specific questions, and left them vague so that I was more or less interviewing myself. They eventually promoted from within, which I was warned in advance they were likely to do.

Question 1
"You've looked at the job description. What about it seems like a good fit for you, and what do you think would be a challenge?"
I applied online. I interviewed at A Noise Within (Pasadena, CA) in May 2017
Interview
After submitting my application, the Development Director invited me to the company's offices for an onsite interview (no phone pre-screening). The actual interview was about 30 minutes to 45 minutes long, and this was with two employees of the company: the Development Director and the Marketing and Development Coordinator. Both took turns asking questions.
They also laid out the rest of the interview process, which would involve at least one more in-person panel interview before a final decision. Afterward, I was shown around the premises, which included the theatre venue itself.
