Applied online. Received an email from the team that they have reviewed my experience, education, and profile and was interested to interview me. The interview went pretty well and was one hour - mostly technical and little behavioural. I was told at the end of the interview that they would get back in touch with me on the next steps in two weeks. However, after waiting for two weeks and 2 days, I followed up and they responded three weeks after the interview and one week after my email that they decided to go with another candidate as relevant experience became a consideration after the interview while the job description was open to related fields.
