After reviewing my resume for specific criteria that wasn't mentioned in the job posting, the director explained the position and the average day of a Terminal manager on his team. The position is little more than a dock hand with an office and extra responsibility. You're expected to load and unload trucks, primarily, then try to do everything else with the remainder of your day. There didn't seem to be much in the way of managing a terminal involved. There is an office clerk who does most of the administrative work, and when she's out of the office sick or on vacation, as terminal manager you'll do her work, too.
