I recently went through the interview process for an Intern - T and D Standards and Innovation role at AES Corporation, and I wanted to share my experience.
After completing a technical interview on September 30th, I received an email on October 14th from HR asking for my availability for a follow-up interview. I responded promptly, providing my available times, but unfortunately, I did not receive any acknowledgment or follow-up communication.
Despite sending multiple follow-up emails over the subsequent days, I was left without any updates or clarity regarding my application status. This lack of communication has been frustrating and has made me feel undervalued as a candidate.
While I understand that hiring processes can be hectic, clear communication is essential in maintaining a positive candidate experience. I hope the company takes steps to improve its hiring practices and communication with candidates in the future.
