The process began with a recorded video interview via Willo.
Next, I had a call with the internal Manager of Talent Acquisition.
After that, a discussion with the VP of E-commerce.
Following that, I was asked to complete an exercise (which I spent ~4 hours on) and submitted it.
After submitting, there was no further communication unless I initiated follow-ups.
I followed up weekly to express continued interest, but the company only responded sporadically with vague excuses (e.g. “we want to compare several candidates”).
Finally I received a rejection email: “the team decided to shift focus and find someone from a disruptor brand… we will not be filling the role as originally scoped.”
