I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ARQ in Feb 2022
Interview
Applied through LinkedIn and was contacted by recruiter a week after. Only heard from them again after a month and was scheduled for a technical interview. Technical interview felt like a certification exam, I mostly did the talking as the interviewer asked generic questions where you enumerate and explain the concept behind each item. I wasn't allowed to voice out my thought process as I was interrupted when I try to explain first before I gave out the key answer to the question. The phone call setting on the other end was distracting as well, I was being interviewed over the phone, the video was on and I could see how uninterested the interviewer is, adding to that was the awkwardness I felt talking to half of his face. I just did my best to stay polite until the very end. I haven't heard from them ever since.
