I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ASML in Jun 2019
Interview
2 phone interview, one 5 hour in person interview.
Breezed through the first two phone interview. Was given airfare and hotel to interview in person. Gave a presentation then met with various members in the role along with directors and hiring managers.
One of the associates hounded me hard on technical questions that I most likely wouldn't know. I tried my best to deduce the best possible answer. Another associate walked in and said those questions were "too hard".
Overall, the interview went okay in my mind. I wasn't given the job offer, took about 3 days for them to decide.
I ended up applying to another job from a different company only to realize ASML had bought them out, this was brought to my attention from an email. After responding to the email about my continued interest in the company, I was "suggested" to not apply to anymore roles in the company due to my own self interest and lack of the company's.
Almost feels like a "Work work work" place with no room for advancing and after reading some of the job reviews, it confirms it.
Great experience to have, except the last bit where I was "suggested" to not apply anymore at all, to any branch or location.
The interview overall very open and nice. Need to prepare general questions. How was your experience before? Interviewer were 3 and they introduce theirselves first, and then interviewee had to explain myself.
