Interview
Two Stage interview process.
1st stage was a 30 min zoom call with HR. Mostly non-technical questions about myself and my career so far. Very friendly.
2nd Stage was a technical interview with Head of Engineering and Snr SRE.
There were 20 or so situational and knowledge questions relating to Cloud infrastructure on AWS and CI/CD etc. Again, both interviewers were nice and friendly.

Interview
Scheduled 30 minutes and started the conversation with, ‘I have 10 questions to go through, let’s see how we get on’… The position was as an Enterprise Sales Exec but the interviewer had no idea of accounts, be them named or targeted, no idea on compensation (base or OTE) and the interview was just question after scripted question, there was no interaction, no mutual conversation, no attempt at trying to be anything remotely personal or understand anything about me. At no point was I asked my motivation, desired outcome, aspirations and wasn’t given a single chance to ask any questions other than what accounts and salary.. To me the interviewer was reading off a script and had no intention of deviating from it, which made it the most impersonal interview I’ve ever had. If this was a reflection of how the company is run, than I think bullet dodged as I may as well have been talking to a robot.
