The interview process at AP is definitely an intense one. It was a 5 round process consisting of an initial phone interview, a homework assignment, a video interview with members of the department you are applying for, a presentation and lastly a face-to-face interview with a director.
AP has some incredible talent and this interview process definitely filters out the faint-hearted. That being said, everyone I spoke to during my interview process was extremely nice and great at listening - I mean truly listening. They give everyone a decent chance.
I originally had applied for the Account Manager position, but AP decided part way through my interview process that I may be better suited in their Senior Associate position. I appreciated this because it showed their willingness to work with me to find the best fit. Although this position was a level lower than what I had originally applied for, I didn't feel disheartened at all.
Throughout the interview process I had one point of contact who lead me through and was always available if I had any questions, she was a great support and didn't feel intimidating which is sometimes hard to find in intense interview processes. This put me at ease and allowed me to give my 100%.
All in all, AP are a top notch company and they make sure they only hire the right people to enhance their quality and fit in with their company values. If you think you have what it takes, give it a shot!
