Steps were 1) brief recruiter call then 2) an hour phone technical screen specific to react and node.
The process was straight forward and the recruiter was great but the tech screen was poor.
The person interviewing was a junior dev who was just reading questions from a piece of paper and didn't exhibit ant in-depth knowledge he had about some of the topics that were covered. I got a rejection about a week later but didn't really see the point of taking a role that would require a Software Engineer to travel up to 4 days a week when there are plenty of great opportunities in most major cities without all the traveling.
