I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Accenture
Interview
I was internally referred by a friend of mine (how most candidates get interview opportunities), and set up two phone interviews. I thought that one would be behavioral, and the other would be a case interview. Instead, they were both case interviews. Accenture interviewers use personal consulting experiences to test your analytical skills and understand your thought process (so I can't guarantee that a different candidate will get a question anything like the ones described below).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The first case interview question asked how a corporation controlling 5 different businesses could consolidate the businesses. It was very important to ask questions to understand the components/departments of each business in order to reduce redundancies between businesses. It required asking a lot of questions to get more information about the businesses to make a decision.
The second interview question was about a company that was going to be sold within 18 months, and it's goal was to increase its value before being sold by reducing the cost of technical support. The interviewer asked how this company should do this, and what the implications those decisions would be. Again, it took a lot of questions in order to fully understand the situation, then analyze and propose a recommendation.
