The worst process I've ever experienced took almost 50 days for just 4 rounds of interviews, with no internal coordination among HR managers. For one candidate, 2-3 different HR representatives contacted me, with one scheduling an online assessment round and another scheduling a virtual tech round. After clearing the online assessment, the first HR wanted to schedule a virtual technical round, while the second HR wanted to schedule another online assessment round. It was incredibly frustrating to see such a lack of proper management of candidate profiles.
After clearing up this confusion, they scheduled another virtual technical round for me a month later, which I also had to clear. However, after that, there was no response from any of the HR representatives. Despite multiple follow-ups, including emails and phone calls, I received no response. Then, after 2 weeks, I received a call from a different HR representative informing me that I had cleared the last round and had a face-to-face interview at the office location in Pune.
Upon reaching the office, I was told to go to a particular building, but the experience was akin to being directed around like in an SBI bank. Finally reaching the correct building where interviews were being conducted, I discovered that despite being told it was a face-to-face interview, it was actually virtual, conducted on their premises. After the interview, when I asked about the results, I was told by one of the coordinators that it was not the final round but the second round, even though I had already completed 4 rounds. I was on the verge of losing my patience.
HR asked me to upload all documents along with my pay slips on their site, which I did, and all documents were accepted. However, after 2 days, when I emailed HR about the interview result, there was no response. A week later, I received an email from Accenture stating that my application would not be moving forward as I had failed in the first round. It was baffling and infuriating to realize that despite failing in the first round, they had wasted my time with 4 rounds of interviews over 50 days.
Such a level of mismanagement, lack of coordination, and disregard for candidates' time is unacceptable.
