I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Chennai) in Jan 2016
Interview
Initially I had a telephonic round followed by face to face interview , on clearing the first round.
For second round of interview, they asked me to come in person , but the person who is supposed to interview me had already left for the day though i reached an hour earlier for the interview.
Finally , HR people made me to roam each tower to get interviewed and it happened with a person who is from a different project and not relevant to the post which i applied for.
Also no technical question was asked but few questions related to testing was there.
The next week, HR called me and told that i have been shortlisted and managerial round will be there and i will be updated on that shortly .
But I did not got any call after that and i was asked to send a lot of my personal docs to HR team for assessment and finally my status was - rejected in final round, which did not took place at all!!!
This is the worst interview experience i have ever had.HR people needs to get trained on how to handle candidates and they should be thought to respond for any queries or calls from candidates.!!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions about image type, data migration, ssh methods,AWS Storage and differences etc.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Accenture (Bengaluru) in Apr 2021
Interview
It was an AWS Developer level 10 position
Interview process as per conversation with HR:
1. Online Assessment 40 mins 30 questions multiple choices.
2. Skill interview video conference.
3. HR + Managerial.
1st round online assessment questions were good to the point and scenarios were clear.
2nd round (answer 6 out of 10 correct questions then only interviewer will proceed furher)
They will not ask questions on their own senarios or project or what they actually need.
Interviewer didn't asked me about my technical background and moved straight to his 6/10 questions.
Some of my valid answers/approaches were not there in the multiple choices for the questions interviewer was reading from AWS whitepapers for AWS dev cert or some online content.
If you haven't worked on that AWS service, it's a -1 for you, move to the next question.
Interviewer was static with the content he was reading. It's normal to discuss about scenarios. He denied to discuss and we moved to next question.
Advice to HR dept and interviewers: Please categorize AWS Positions(Dev./Sol. Arch./DevOps/Security)
There can be multiple solutions for a scenario-based question and valid solutions may not be there in your multiple choices.
Interviewer must discuss solutions with the candidate and listen to the candidate's approach.
Hire wisely.
