I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Addepar (Salt Lake City, UT) in Oct 2025
Interview
The interview consisted a first recruiter round, followed up by a superday, the superday was an hour long interview with multiple sections to it, one being them asking you questions about their platform (for this you need to have apt financial terms knowledge) then they have a workflow designed which is like a if else code block and you need to be able to explain them how it is working, after that they will give you 5 minutes to prepare on any technical topic of your choice and they will then ask you to explain that topic to them, then they will ask some questions based on that.
I found the interview to be pretty tough and intimidating, thats not it though, if they don't select you they won't give you an update till weeks, I waited for 3 1/2 weeks after the interview, the email they provide where you can ask about any questions regarding follow-up, they would never reply to your follow-ups, and just generally send a automated reject email. The process needs to be improved, and the timelines too, Overall a negative experience, won't recommend applying for this company
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They will show you their platform and ask yo what's going on in the window, can you explain what you see?
Relatively challenging, but straightforward and interactive. The technical interview is a beneficial area to showcase your own strengths while also being able to learn about the platform and what the role entails. HR interview, followed by technical then finally a talk with hiring manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Prepare a topic of your choosing and teach me about it.
Three interviews, one with HR, then superday and then hiring manager.
It's a really quick and efficient process. The super day goes into financial technicals, and then they assess your communication and interpersonal skills.
The hiring manager interview was basically just a conversation about the role. Very insightful.
