I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Adeso in Nov 2024
Interview
The interview process was extremely disorganised. The job post on LinkedIn required the applicant to complete an assessment, then send the results and a CV and cover letter to a specific email. However, after completing the assessment, I decided not to proceed with the application.
I was still somehow scheduled for an interview even though I technically did not apply for the job and they had not even checked my CV to see that I didn't have anything close to the requirements for the job.
Anyway, I was given a slot for around 11 am and confirmed availability, however after some time, I was told it was mistake and my slot was 10 (??). They refused to reschedule my interview even though that time was not favourable for me.
I didn't understand this process, it seems very ineffective and time-wasting (for everyone involved) to interview people without so much as a basic vetting process.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Adeso (Mogadishu) in Aug 2017
Interview
the interview was normal and in a comfortable place, it took 45 minutes to conclude the interview session. but some technical questions that i have been asked was quite unrelated to this possion. because my role was assistant technician but I feel like I have been interviewed as full GIS technician
