This bank takes a bit to respond to online applications. They will call you in to interview and take almost an hour to see who you are and what you can offer them. I pretty much did 80% of the talking. I felt that the manager asking the questions did not know much of what to expect of the new location that I was interviewing for. Apparently, I was interviewing for a new small location that did not even have a manager assigned or hired for yet. Well anyway, I finished the interview and was asked to fill out a paper application that was almost 10 pages long right there in their lobby prior to leaving. That is so archaic... I would rather have gone home and typed it quicker. This interview was such a waste of time since I have more experience than this branch would need. I was overkill for their needs. I would have liked to be told that I was not for them, then to never hear from the interviewing manager at all. They are not professional, much less aware of what they are looking for when opening a new branch location. I honestly do not like or recommend anyone working for them. The larger banks have more options and benefits and professionalism than Affiliated Bank!
