I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aflac (Silver Spring, MD) in Mar 2019
Interview
They ask you to set up an interview, really it is a group interview. You must physically get to the location as phone/skype interviews are not an option. They ask you some questions but it's really answering the questions you have and convincing you that it is a good opportunity.
THIS IS NOT A MARKETING INTERNSHIP, IT IS ENTIRELY SALES!! Definitely deliberately misleading.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Aflac in Feb 2019
Interview
I received a request for a phone interview almost immediately. The system was not working initially, so I contact the representatives and I received no response for almost a full week. The interview finally got scheduled, but I received a phone call 15 minutes before the interview was supposed to happen saying that they had to reschedule. On the rescheduled date, the representative called 20 minutes late and spoke to me for about 15 minutes. She asked me to follow up with her to let her know if I was still interested the next day. I followed up and asked some additional questions and she never wrote back to me and I have no t been contacted since.

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Aflac (Silver Spring, MD) in Feb 2015
Interview
Applied online through school job list. Received a call a day later requesting an interview. Interview was very casual though short (1-2 questions)--I asked more questions than the interviewer. Was more of a small talk session than formal interview. The interviewer seemed a bit unprepared.
