I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Aflac (Detroit, MI) in Jul 2009
Interview
It was easy and fun. We chatted about my experience and she gave a brief rundown on the job and pay. It was about a half hour. I've been through a few other interviews where the interviewer was either clueless or on a power trip. Interviews shouldn't be like that.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There really wasn't one. She did ask how I felt about an all commission job.
Zoom meeting with regional manager. Was very thorough and informative. Good conversations and questions. I felt very comfortable and the manager was very easy to talk to. Was very satisfied with the whole process and excited to work with them.
They had one group meeting to discuss the job and then 6+ months before interviews. Takes a very long time to follow up but stay vigilant if you want to work for this company.
Started off as a group interview. This was not disclosed prior to the interview. It felt humiliating and degrading. No one said anything that felt genuine or welcoming. I left halfway through because it was so nauseating
