I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Aflac (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2014
Interview
Group interview with 15 people, followed by short 1 to 1 interview with a member of the team. Didn't feel like an interview at all, in fact I still have no idea what the job actually intales. Was more like a math class/sales pitch, explaining how much they thought we could potentially make in our first year. ($50,000 to $80,000 according to them, but with an average of $22,000 on glass door at time of writing this.
We were then told we'd have a face to face interview, but told not to ask many questions as then it would take too long. When I asked about the mentoring the manager had mentioned in the "math class" I was told in clever wording that there was no such thing, but that the person sitting next to you in the office would keep an eye on you for a while.
They also require you to take a test and get a licence to legally sell insurance in California ($280 at time of writing this.) The only question asked of me in the face to face interview was "Can you afford to pay $280 for the licence."
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you afford $280 for a licence to sell insurance.
Most of the interview was watching a promo video about the company. Was kinda bait and switch as the job description implied management and oversight but the job was basic sales.

Question 1
Left after the commercial once I got the gist of the job
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Aflac (Oklahoma City, OK) in Sep 2019
Interview
Came in for what I thought was an interview, was a room with several other people. Was pitched a salesman job (not the manager posting) and offered job without asking me any questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None, they just hired everyone in the room who didn't walk out
Interview consisted of a sales effort to introduce/enlighten me on the customer sales spiel. After an extended period, I asked the interviewer about the position's salary. He seemed a bit shocked that I wanted to know this in the first interview, but I was determined to not waste anymore time. The position has NO salary and is commission only. The position is actually for an insurance sales associate, not manager position. Don't waste your time unless you are looking to be an insurance sales person.
