Recruiter initially contacted me via LinkedIn and asked if I was open to have a conversation about a VPHR role (I didn’t apply). I sent a copy of my resume as requested and the recruiter said she wanted to send it to the VP for review. I checked in a couple of times with the recruiter after not hearing anything for about a week. Finally informed them that I was pursuing other roles as I had not contact after almost 2 weeks. Recruiter did respond after I said I was moving on to other opportunities and said she was “busy” and “OOO”. What recruiter responds in such an unprofessional manner with acronyms and snarkyness? It was clear she couldn’t manage her time and most likely dropped the ball. It looks like company is run by amateurs. I would avoid if they call you.
