I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Akamai
Interview
for all support roles, first 2 or 3 rounds will be over telephonic. and each round will go for atleast 30mins to 2 hours. I had my third round for 1 and a half hour. if you can crack akamais interview atleast first 3 rounds, then you can crack almost many top companies interview( EMC,Netapp,Microsoft etc.,).
the focus on 2 main things . 1) the knowledge you gained in your previous job. 2) Indepth basic test(Example: for a network engineer DNS might look like a easy topic, but here you will get questions for DNS for an hour. they wont stop questioning untill you stop answering)
all together, you may face 5-6 rounds

You wont get much questions on linux or server related questions
And you wont get STUPID aptitude questions like how many apples can fit this room.
He asked indepth of practical knowledge I had on the Network Internet protocols. Overall its a waste of time . They go on conducting technical rounds again and again as they wish. There is no particular format of interview. They won't tell you about any process
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Akamai (Bengaluru) in Jun 2021
Interview
The interview process is slow. It took around 25 days in my case to get an offer after giving an interview. But waiting will worth it. But HR team made my process smooth.
