The interview process is pretty straightforward, obviously you should be good with basic questions relating to your role. All the technical question revolve around basic know-how of the subject matter and test your communication skills too.

Let me take the plunge and bring to disclosure, Akamai sets the toughest interview process which will scale you in all possible dimensions. The initial rounds comprises of phone Interview which probe on your previous skills acquired and experience gained in the respective fields and would like the applier to be assertive, lucid and to the point. After a set of 3-4 rounds over a phone-call, they will select a topic for the presentation which needs be delivered in front of a panel. Presentation will test you in your technical responsibilities and in-depth*underlined* TCP/IP or HTTP knowledge. Further more a viz-a-viz round with the team manager who will be throwing real time issues, may expect most optimistic and optimum answers from your end. The outcome of this round assures whether you are in or out. Finally a normal discussion with senior management in due course of policies set.

it was ok. basically asked for networking questions. learned a lot from it. it was a good learning experience. the behaviour of interviewer was good. cant say much. basic preparation is enough . concenterate on the basics. can study os, dbms, c++ also.
