I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Akamai (Dubai) in Oct 2022
Interview
30-minute HR discussion then a one-hour Interview with the recruiting manager both were very pleasant even if I got feedback only after 2 months and asked multiple times
The whole process was online and Interviews were conducted on MS Teams
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Talk about my experience, what I could bring to the team
3 rounds. 1st round the non technical, get to know you. 2nd round extremely technical. 3rd round provide presentation on how HTTP3 is better than HTTP 2. Panel will judge and evaluate your performance
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Akamai (London, England) in Feb 2023
Interview
3 stage interview over 4 weeks. 1st was a discussion with the hiring manager. 2nd was a technical discussion with a senior member of the team. 3rd stage was a presentation for a panel selected from the team. I found the presentation part very stressful & difficult to prepare. In hindsight, I would've spent longer going through technical documentation to learn Akamai products for questioning. Having experience working with Akamai products is definitely a bonus for interview. I would've also have asked for a review or additional input from team during preparation. There is an extensive onboarding process from what I understand, but a few comments made about "baptism of fire" which didn't sound very supportive!
