I applied online. I interviewed at AlgoSec in May 2025
Interview
While I understand that recruitment can be a busy endeavor, the lack of communication I encountered was significant and ultimately led to my withdrawal from consideration.
I was initially contacted by a recruiter on a Tuesday requesting my availability for a first interview that week, to which I responded promptly. However, I received no further communication until the following Monday, after I had to follow up to inquire about scheduling. I then provided my availability for Wednesday, but that day passed without any contact whatsoever – no confirmation, no interview, and no explanation.
As someone who was recently laid off and is actively navigating the job market, this level of unresponsiveness and lack of follow-through was particularly disheartening. It not only wasted valuable time but also demonstrated a lack of consideration for candidates.
Based solely on this initial experience with your recruitment process, I have serious reservations about the company's internal communication and overall candidate care. While the role itself may have been a good fit, this experience has led me to believe that the organizational culture may not align with my expectations for professional conduct and respect.
Therefore, as stated in my follow-up email to the recruiter, I have removed my application from further consideration. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve the candidate experience for others in the future.

Application
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AlgoSec (Petah Tikva) in Dec 2021
Interview
The process took overall 2 (!) months; 5 interview sessions, 5 different interviewers, one home assignment, 2-3~ weeks between each interview. When I asked for updates I was either ignored or was told they'll have an answer "in the coming days" (this happened 3-4 times, and it always took more than couple of days for them to get back, to the point I gave up on the job 2 times in between).
I wasn't told (even though I asked) what the next steps are/what the process is going to be, I actually thought on the 3rd & 4rd interview this was the last one and was surprised to find out there were more (this wasn't even that big of a job that required this long hiring process; looking back it seems like I was interviewed for the CEO position).
At the end I was told (was told = after I pushed for an answer 2 weeks after the last interview) "they continued with someone more experienced" (which is funny because during the whole process I was barely if at all was asked about my experience, mostly about my personality, ambitions etc.).
Everything was so random, like they're coming up with the hiring process on the go.
Highly unprofessional.
