I applied in-person. I interviewed at Allegent Community FCU
Interview
Was called and invited for an interview. Attended the interview and after a brief 5/10 minute initial face to face interview, I was told to wait as someone else will be in to interview me in a few minutes. After 25 minutes, someone came and interviewed me. They offered me feedback straight after which was positive. Again I was told to wait and that another member of staff would be in to interview me. After a while I was interviewed by a member who would be my go to manager. All the way through this interview it seemed as though he wasn't too impressed by what I was saying and not really taking it in.
All the way through the interview process they really wanted you to stress how much you are motivated by money. Which obviously, why does anyone work To earn money. But how much they want you to stress this point was a little awkward. They really need to realise that people also do want to be in a job they also enjoy!! The mentality was similar to that of wolf of Wall Street! Very intimidating and pushy environment I felt.
I was told I would know the next day if I got the job. I didn't get it because of my 'drive', it wasn't up to their standard. But to be honest, I don't think I would have worked for them. Like I've said, seemed a very pushy and confrontational environment which I didn't really like compared to other companies. A lot of the staff were also young (fresh from university), whcih gave the impression there is a high staff turnover whcih didn't seem too promising in wanting to maintain a long, loyal relationship with a company to progress your career.
