I applied online. I interviewed at AlphaSights (New York, NY) in Mar 2026
Interview
The interviewers were very nice and supportive. The first interview was behavioral, the you have the case study, and the final round with a senior executive. The last round was daunting and was definitely more conversational and there’s really no way to prep for that other than know yourself well.
I only attended the first interview. The HR manager was neither friendly nor unfriendly. It was just a normal screening interview. Only self-introduction and motivation for application were conducted in English, and the rest were conducted in Korean. The HR manager asked questions focusing on my background and history rather than understanding the job itself.
First round all behavioral. Mostly talking about previous experiences, how it applies to AlphaSights, and why AlphaSights is a fit role. Wasn't difficult, but unfortunately did don't get selected for some reason even though I thought it went very well.
Initial call with a recruiter to gain an insight into the role. This was followed by two subsequent calls with more senior members of staff which entailed more technical questions. A language test also had to be carried out.
