Interview
Applied online through college or university. Then got an email from Alpha Sights that prompted me to complete online AVA (visual interview that you record yourself answering roughly 5 questions, with 1 trial question to understand how the platform works)
I would say it was a pretty standard behavioral interview. They asked questions in both Japanese and English since this was for a position in Japan. It was conducted over Zoom, if I remember correctly.
via zoom. first round was casual just some questions and explaining the company, the second one they had me prepare a case study and do research and then proceeded to tell me everything i did wrong. needless to say did not get an offer
Extensive over multiple rounds, first its get to know you style, after that they make you cold call without context. If you ask for context, none is provided. Must do industry research beforehand.
