I was given a test assignment to make a doom game inside their alt-world app and they asked me game design-related questions regarding that and a few general game design questions as well.

if we remove the jump mechanic from Super Mario Bros what design changes would you make to the game interesting?
The interview was almost like a conversation. Questions were asked on college education, experiences, ambitions etc. Be clear about why you want to work in the role and what you expect from the internship.
