    The interview was very professional but laid back. lots of general knowledge questions about the position applied for. The interviewers were polite and friendly which made the interview process easy. I was offered the position a few days later. The questions were a mix of personality based and many on the subject for the power production tech field of knowledge.

    Telephone Interview with several department employees. Interview with the Program Director. I personally flew out to visit the office. Very low pressure , nice honest people. I recommend you have your references available to verify employment for security clearance.

    Interviewer held my resume and said the interview would consist of him convincing me to come to work for him as soon as possible. Throughout the experience the interviewer and I shared military experiences as if we were old friends rather than complete strangers exploring the other's positions and opinions for red flags. When discussing the salarfy we came to instant agreement and I reported for work the next day!

    He told me that the maximum the contract would carry was $xxx, xxx and he was hoping that would be enough to bring me on board. Luckily for both of us, it was indeed within the range I hoped for...near the top, in fact!

    The process was simple and not too stressful. There was a small test or trial administered to assess the knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. The process did not take long and the people seemed to be pretty friendly. They listened to what needs I had and were understanding about anything I was asking.

    The interview process consisted of the application process, telephone screen. After the phone screen, I was invited for an in-person interview. The in-person interview consisted of two people, the PM and the site lead. After salary negotiations, I received an offer on the spot.

    Their was no process. I was called in to fill out a application as a technicality. I new someone in management. That's how it works at Alutiiq. It's the buddy system. Your qualifications don't matter as long as you know someone, or are related to someone. Enjoying talking about football helps too.
