I received a phone call in the evening. The lady mentioned that she had seen my resume and wanted to see if i might fit their opening and come in for an interview. After answering her questions, she asked if I could come in the following day. I was unavailable, so she kindly asked in I could come in two days later. I did.
When I arrived at the office, I noticed that it was very professional, nicely decorated, and established. I had read several reviews about AIL, and so I suspected that it was not the type of position that I thought. I was correct.
The position is basically a life insurance salesperson, but they do, apparently, provide all your leads for you, so there is no cold-calling etc. The "Customer Service Manager" part of the job would come after I recruited other agents and then begin to build my organization.
Although it was a bit deceptive, I do understand what they are trying to do. Their mission statement on their website refers to absolute truth and love, etc, so it was a bit suspect.
They are a large company, they've been around for a long time, and, for the right person, this is probably a good opportunity.
