Interview
I was called for an interview by the company's internal recruiter. She then sent me an email confirmation on who will be the interviewers. The interviewers as per email are the recruiter herself and the Senior Finance Manager. When I get there, I was surprised that the Finance Director also joined the interview. They called me after one and a half week saying that I am a strong candidate however I lack tax expertise. My only comment is that, the role is misleading! They should have changed the title to Tax Manager so I would have not applied for it.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amgen (Tampa, FL) in Nov 2021
Interview
A series of three interviews. Liked the interviewers. Was just frustrated that the salary they offered was a fair amount below my desired range (was asking for 105K base and they offered 92K). NOTE: This was a couple years ago. Filling this out to get access to Glassdoor. You know how it is.
Anyways I asked if they were able to budge on the base and they moved it to 95K. I checked with the recruiter that they didn't mishear me on my expectations. They did not and she assured me they did have my information. She thought it would be within their range. Not frustrated at the ask more just frustrated that they wasted my time and confused as to why they wasted their own time. Will never apply for a job here again.
