I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amgen (Thousand Oaks, CA)
Interview
I had a panel interview followed by individual interview. The process was not intimidating at all. Be prepared to arrive early enough to find your interview location. I met with several interviewers in different positions within the department. Strangely, I did not feel like I was going through an interrogation session. I was quizzed about technical information as well. I would suggest that you complete a quick review of your area of expertise. Anything in the job description could become a topic of conversation. It was a business casual atmosphere in terms of dress.
Overall, everyone was extremely friendly and professional.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Amgen (West Greenwich, RI) in Jan 2017
Interview
The person I was supposed to interview was out with the flu. The other two that were available were great to talk to. Very conversational and easy going. The questions asked were the basic interview questions. No curveballs.
