I found the process to be straightforward but thorough. The recruiters emphasized practical applications of my background. Most of the conversation revolved around clarifying my past projects and validating my core competencies.
— Interview Process —
There was one tech round which was well-structured and the interviewer was knowledgeable. I was told I was the only candidate selected out of 20 who interviewed, which made the experience feel promising.
— Where It Fell Apart —
I had clearly communicated my salary expectation from the very first call. Despite this, the initial offer came in at 20% over my current CTC — nowhere close to what was discussed. After some back and forth, they moved to 30%, which was still far from the agreed expectation.
It felt like the salary discussion was never taken seriously from the start. Stating your expectations upfront doesn't seem to carry much weight here. Candidates should be aware that the final offer may have little connection to what's discussed early in the process.
— Advice to Management —
Be transparent about budget constraints before the process begins. It saves everyone's time and builds trust.
— Would I recommend interviewing here? —
Only if you're very flexible on compensation.
