Animal Outlook interview questions

I had an initial phone call interview for the Digital Engagement Strategist role. I was then emailed a lengthy assignment to complete, which I completed on time. It took me hours to complete. Afterwards, I never heard back about my assignment and 5 months later was sent an email that they hired someone for the role. Very unprofessional and I would advise Animal Outlook and other companies to not give lengthy assignments (essentially free labor) if they are not taking the applicant's time seriously.
